Called the miraculous church Simala Shrine, it is a famous pilgrimage site located in the town of Sibonga, Cebu, Philippines. How to get there?
If you are coming from Cebu City, go to the South Bus Terminal and take any bus that goes to Argao, Badian, Oslob etc. The Shrine is along the routes of these buses. Just tell the bus conductor to drop you off in Simala. Once in Simila, there will be tricycle or motor (habal-habal) drivers that could take you to the Marian Hills. The cost for these transports is Php20. Make a deal with your driver to wait for you so you’d have a ride back to the national highway.
Can I wear anything I want?
Unfortunately, no! Dress properly. The Shrine is considered sacred and a place for worship. So do not wear shorts or anything that exposes much of your skin. Wearing jeans is okay. Even for men wearing shorts, it is required that the shorts must NOT be above the knee.

Spare at least 2 hours. The Shrine is huge and there are so many things to see or even read.
