There’s more to the sunflower fields in Yellow Springs Ohio than just sunflowers!
I captured the little miracle creatures that were busy pollinating, flying from one flower disc to another, undisturbed by humans taking selfies. These pollinators and the flowers have a symbiotic relationship. The pollinators help increase confection sunflower production, and in return, the sunflower pollen helps bees by making them more resistant to infection.
