The Futuro House or UFO House in Carlisle, Ohio is an eye-catcher by itself. With two oblong saucers connected with a tube walkway, the structure is certainly an interesting roadside structure along Central Ave.

I am not sure when the this UFO house was built, but the prefabricated Futuro home design from 1968 is by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen.

What to know before you visit

  1. Finding a place to park is hard. If you visit, you may park along the road and walk to the structure.
  2. This is a private house. You may want to talk to the owner if you wish to see what’s inside the house.
