Bird-sighting. Long-distance walking. Nature-tripping. You’ll get them all at the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge in Oak Harbor, Ohio. There’s over ten miles of trails through marshland, woods, shrub land and grassland. The park’s 7000 acres are managed to provide diverse habitat for waterfowl, shorebirds, migrant songbirds, and other animal and plant species.
The refuge has been declared an important bird area by the American Bird Conservatory and Audubon Ohio.

Hours
The refuge wildlife drive is not open every day, please check the calendar of events to see if the wildlife drive is scheduled to be open before you travel. On the days that it is open the wildlife drive travels through areas of the refuge not otherwise open.
