There aren’t so many coffee shop options near Fairborn and Yellow Springs Ohio. It is quite disappointing for me who loves to have my coffee closer to home. There are stores that sell coffee such as gas stations and cafes, but they do not come for me as a real coffee shop. So, to count the number of coffee shops around me, there are only five — and two of them are Starbucks stores.
Among the five coffee locations, here’s how I rank them based on how the staff treats their costumers, the prices of their coffee, the seating space available inside, and the ambiance of the store.
#5 — Starbucks inside Krogers Marketplace

Hours: 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM
I am not sure why there is even a store inside, when another Starbucks is just around the corner. The male staff assigned in the evening is unfriendly. I asked if I could have a half-half creamer and was told that that he ran out of supply. He didn’t say “sorry” nor offer an option. I will never be back at that store!
#4 — Spirited Goat Coffee House

Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
I love this place. The first time I visited it, the lady barista was very friendly and accommodating. She also asked me if I was new in town and how I am liking the city so far.
#3 — Starbucks at E. Dayton Yellow Springs Road
Address: 1187 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, Ohio 45324
Hours: 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM
This is the place for anyone who’d love to work late at night. They used to close at 11 PM, but later changed it to 10 PM. This location is very spacious with enough chairs and tables for everyone. It also has a little patio.
#2 — Tim Hortons
Address: 1245 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324
Hours: 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Located a block away from Starbucks, this Tim Hortons store caters to so many drive-through customers. I noticed that when I entered the store, there was barely anyone inside. I love this place because I could stay inside and work without worrying of being disturbed by loud chats.

I give this coffee shop 5 stars! It may be small but it has great coffees that come from great service. I love the local feel of it. It has baked treats, which by the way, are delicious.
