It was a wonderful afternoon at the Beavercreek Community Park walking around and checking out various art displays for the ArtFest in Beavercreek annual event. The park is only a 20-minute drive from my place so I thought spending an hour or two at the event is worthwhile, especially that the Filipino-American community is doing a short dance presentation.

The ArtFest was not really big. In fact, there were only a few people around. Although there were a number of booths lining the edge of the lake, sadly, there were not just many visitors to check them out. I tried to visit some booths and to talk to the artists. The one I liked the most was the “pointillism” paintings.

Admission to ArtFest was FREE

Parking.

Parking was at Nutter Park on Factory Rd. I personally disliked this kind of parking plan for the event. Public parking was a good 2 to 3 blocks away from the park. There was a little waiting time for the shuttle bus that would ferry visitors from the parking lot to the event location. The small parking space nearest the park was intended for disabled parking.
