Oh yeah, there is a giant dragon that you could find if you are traveling along I-70 in Illinois. It is called the Kaskaskia Dragon!
Traveling along I-70 going to Indiana is quite boring, as there isn’t any other roadside attraction to see for a quick stopover except for the Kaskaskia Dragon statue.
The dragon breathes fire during evenings, I’ve heard. You need to buy a token from the Kaskasia Supply True Value to get it shooting fire out of its mouth. Too bad that I didn’t get to see it since I drove there during daytime.
If you have kids with you, stop by the metallic dragon statue for a quick fun and photo-op!
