As the title says, one of the largest model railroad museums in the world, and the biggest in the USA, can be found in San Diego, California USA. Called as “San Diego Model Railroad Museum“, the museum houses a scale model railway that replicates San Diego’s train tracks. With trains operational and appearing realistic, this is something traveling to San Diego should visit. There are tunnels, lights, villages, landscapes in great detail, and running trains — who doesn’t get excited with that?

Admission is free to San Diego County Residents with ID on the first Tuesday of each month. The San Diego Model Railroad Museum is FREE every first Tuesday of the month.
