If you are looking for a restaurant to eat Filipino Food in Las Vegas Nevada, then this is your post! The first time I visited Las Vegas, I wanted to try some Filipino cuisines since there isn’t one in my city. A friend told me to visit Kusina Ni Lorraine, a restaurant that which offers Filipino buffet at a reasonable price. From the hotel where I stayed, it took me only 10 minutes to reach the place.
There wasn’t so much parking space in the area. If you come during peak hours, you may not find any spot.
The restaurant looked small from the outside. However, it was quite spacious inside. In fact, there were more than enough tables for customers.
Overall, the food was decent and nothing fancy. For $8.99 + tax a buffet per person, it was reasonably priced. In terms of food variety, you would get the common Pinoy dishes such as chicken afritada, adobong manok, pansit bihon, dinuguan, and kare-kare. Add also the chicken tinola and the fried lumpia.
Apart from the parking, another downer was the hot temperature inside. I was there in the middle of a humid summer and their AC wasn’t strong enough, nor the electric fans that kept the costumers alive inside.
For a quick fix to your Filipino food cravings, Kusina Ni Lorraine could be your place. Also, there is a Filipino market attached to the side. I was happy to find my faves polvoron and otap displayed on the shelf, alongside other Filipino delicacies.
