I can’t resist visiting the Spirit Winds Coffee Bar for my dose of caffeine every weekend. This shop serves smooth dark roast coffees in a very affordable price. Imagine this: a regular size coffee (medium) is about $2. A competitor, another local coffee shop called Milagro’s, sells the same size for close to $4. The fact that the taste of coffee at Spirit Winds is smoother than Milagro’s, I am surprised why the latter is much more expensive.

Spirit Winds is not just a coffee bar but also a gift shop. From incense to political figurines, to religious crosses, to dresses, posters, and jewelries, Spirit Winds has them all.
The inside of the shop shouts colors. With chairs color-matching the walls, it feels quite enlivening. The staff are very friendly too.
The shop does not only serve coffee. It is also a mini restaurant, serving sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Check the menu below for the food prices.
One downside of Spirit Winds is the very limited parking space. There was one Saturday I arrived there with no place to park, and I had to come back two hours after. It looks like that late afternoons are the best time to visit the shop when it is less crowded.
For anyone visiting Las Cruces, New Mexico and wanting to have a taste of the local coffee, stop by Spirit Winds.
