If you want endless hikes and trails, looping landscapes, and spectacular vistas, skip the Arches National Park and head to its neighboring Canyonlands National Park in Moab, Utah. You will find the Canyonlands beautifully diverse, a true haven for nature lovers.
See the vast canyons and cliffs at the Grand View Point Overlook.
The ever-changing terrain is unbelievable! This point is called the Dead Horse, giving you a beautiful overlook of the Colorado River.
There were times I thought that the Canyonlands National Park was more beautiful than the Grand Canyon.
If you plan to take all the trails, be at the park early in the morning.
For short and easy trails, go for Grand View Point (2 miles, 1.5 hours) or the White Rim Overlook (1.5 miles, 1 hour). For those who want to challenge themselves, try the Murphy Loop (9 miles, about 5 to 7 hours) or the Gooseberry (6 miles, about 4 to 6 hours).
Canyonlands National Park is the biggest national park in Utah and it is worth your visit.
