If you are looking for a hotel to stay in your route to the Grand Canyon, find one in Flagstaff, Arizona. Flagstaff is about an hour away from the Grand Canyon and you will have many options for your hotel stay.

I picked the Mountain View Inn located in U.S. 66. in one of my trips lately. At $39 a night, it was a good deal when I reserved my room online.

With a GPS, the hotel was easy to find. It was within close proximity of West of the Moon Gallery and Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra.

There was nothing fancy inside the room. The room was quite small for a big family. But if there are only 2 or 3 of you in the room, it will work well.

The toilet seemed to have recently renovated with new fixtures.

Internet was slow at times even in the middle of the night. There was a small fridge, a flat TV, and a microwave in the room. AC worked perfectly fine. There was no breakfast offered by the hotel.

Overall, with a great location, decent price, extremely friendly staff, I would recommend it for a night of stay.
