They call it the “Authentic Hole in the Wall”, the “Former Hide Out for Billy the Kid”, and the “Gem Mine Curio Shop.” The Fox Cave in Glencoe, New Mexico is, indeed, all those three in one!
It is along US Hwy 70 E, and you’ll never miss the place as these hands will catch your attention on the highway.
A cave indeed!
As the name suggest, it is a cave that houses various fantasy decorations and shiny rocks and gems.
Geodes.
Brazilian geodes cost $4 a piece.
Five friends.
Look up to the ceiling to see these guys.
Nifty. Quirky.
Crazy spooky.
There are expensive fossils for sale.
The entrance.
It is not a big place and you can be out in 30 minutes if you won’t spend much time checking the rocks and gems.
