What’s inside the International UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell, New Mexico? There have been so many things written and spoken about the 1947 spaceship crash in Roswell, and still many people are asking the same questions over and over again — “Did the aliens really land in Roswell?” “Are these UFO sightings real?”
When you visit International UFO Museum and Research Center, your questions will be answered. This museum is dedicated to preserving the history of the Roswell Incident of 1947, one of the most famous alleged UFO incidents in history. The Center has people who have been studying this out-of-this-world stuff for many years. When I was there, there were even book authors and guest speakers answering questions about UFO phenomenons from visitors.
The museum is located in the heart of Roswell, a small city in southeastern New Mexico. The building itself is unassuming, but once you step inside, you’ll be transported to a world of extraterrestrial curiosity and intrigue. The museum is home to a wide variety of exhibits, including artifacts and documents related to the Roswell Incident, as well as displays on other UFO sightings and encounters from around the world.
Don’t expect too much.
The majority of the items in the museum are video and newspaper clippings. So you will be spending your time mostly reading texts on the wall and watching videos.
Was there a cover-up?
While there were documents of sworn-statements by eye-witnesses, the government claimed it was a weather balloon.
Best place for photo-ops.
Take as much time as you want to take photos of the aliens. One of the most popular exhibits at the International UFO Museum and Research Center is the recreation of the alien autopsy. The original footage of this supposed autopsy was widely circulated in the 1990s and sparked a renewed interest in the Roswell Incident. While the authenticity of the footage has been widely debunked, the exhibit is still a fascinating look at the culture of UFO mythology.
Other exhibits at the museum include a timeline of UFO sightings throughout history, an interactive exhibit on the physics of alien life, and a display of alien-inspired art. There are also plenty of books, videos, and other resources available for visitors who want to learn more about the subject.
No need of convincing.
The museum isn’t there to convince you. A hardcore UFO believer or a pure skeptic, the Center tells both sides of the story. A trip to the International UFO Museum and Research Center is a chance to indulge their curiosity about the unknown and the unexplained. But the museum is also a tribute to the people of Roswell, who have embraced their town’s reputation as a center of UFO lore. The museum is a testament to the power of storytelling and the enduring fascination that people have with the possibility of life beyond our planet.
Small museum and entertaining.
You can see everything in less than an hour. I was told by the one of the staff that it will take a minimum of 2 hours to read all the documents.
Did the aliens really land in Roswell? Are these UFO sightings real? I definitely recommend this place if you are interested in knowing more about the Roswell incident that happened in 1947.
