The Carlsbad Museum and Art Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico is small, yet informative. It houses very authentic western art. From the Native American pottery collection, to the rifle collection, to the stage coach and the model train exhibit — the museum is worth stopping by.
Aside from the very friendly staff, there is no admission fee. Please leave a few dollars into the box by the front door.
Oh, there is also an ongoing project of building a 1905 Carlsbad scale replica!
