We never planned to visit the Devil’s Tower National Monument in Wyoming. Since my friends and I had an hour to spare, we decided to stop by check how monument looks like. We got there around noontime and the view of the rocky tower against the clear blue sky was inviting.
We had no time to walk the 1.3-mile trail around the tower, so we just took pictures near the visitor center at the base.
The tower is like a million of large rock tubes that are all glued together to form the monster of a mountain! Yes, you can climb up to the top, if you have the proper gears!
Beautiful and mysterious at the same time.
