It is an hour drive through a natural habitat and you’ll be surprised to see so many animals at the Bear Country USA, in Rapid City, South Dakota. Although it is a place to see bears, there are also elks, wolves, mountain goats, big horn sheep, mountain lions, and more.
Expect to see animals next to your car, so keep your windows closed. Since everyone stops at the sight of an animal, a long car queue is inevitable. Be patient.
