July 2013 was the second time that I visited the Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo in Nebraska.
The zoo houses the largest cat complex in North America. There are indoor and outdoor enclosures of cats, with species varying from the Bengal Tiger to the African Lion.

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is open year-round except for Christmas Day. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from March 14 through October 31 with buildings staying open until 6 p.m. The Zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily November 1 through March 14 with buildings staying open until 5 p.m.
