The Wisconsin Veterans Museum is small, but it is well laid out and informative, and not to mention, the exhibits are of top quality. With displays that are heavily on the Civil War to the Gulf War, the museum shows Wisconsin’s roles in the U.S. military.
A slow walking tour with stops to read the descriptions of the displays takes about an hour or so. If you have kids, it may take more time.
Enjoy history in real life displays.
There is a helicopter and a plane inside the chamber.
If you have or had a family in the war, the place will bring you to tears.

Being a Filipino, I was stuck reading about the Philippine war.
The displays in this museum rival the best I’ve seen so far.
