Next to Brazil and the Caribbean, the Philippines has been voted as one of the countries having the least rude locals. This is according to the recently released survey conducted by the travel search site Skyscanner.com. Users of the site (which claims to have 11 million unique visitors per month) were asked where the locals never smile and where people are particularly unfriendly.
The world’s rudest nations for travelers is France, followed by Russia, UK, and Germany. The United States is ranked 7th.

Do you agree with the results of the survey?
@Mythjen: I agree with you. Our hospitality is incomparable. To experience it full, one has to be there, mingle with the locals.
As long as those statistics are a constant, Filipinos wouldn’t care less if we’re number 20 and so on — the word from every visitor speaks for itself — they are among the most hospitable people in the world. Among the best advice we can give to travelers from all over — to coincide their visit to any place that has an impending or on-going festival or celebration. Visitors can have a firsthand experience on Filipino cuisine and native traditions — but the best part is getting to eat for free — guaranteed. Best regards!
